WICHITA, Kan. – FORVIS has appointed Steve Webb as managing partner of its Wichita office, effective June 1. He succeeds Bill Pickert, who will retire on May 31 after 38 years with the firm.
Webb is a tax partner with FORVIS’ National Construction & Real Estate Practice and has worked and raised his family in Wichita over the past 25 years. He has provided tax planning and advising services for clients during his long tenure in the market. “It has been a tremendous privilege to work with Bill the last 20 years and learn from one of the best,” Webb said. “What he has accomplished in his career and achieved for the firm is truly remarkable. We will miss his leadership and will build from the legacy he is leaving to continue the success of the office. The future is bright in Wichita, and I am very honored and grateful for the opportunity to step into this role.”
