The 2023 theme—MOMENTUM—focused on unique approaches leaders and organizations were using to address real and present challenges they were facing across the continuum of healthcare. Attendees learned about the innovative solutions these same leaders were deploying to keep their organizations moving forward in a time of truly profound margin pressure.

The first Healthcare Symposium wasn’t a symposium at all—it began with the then-leader of one of our legacy healthcare practices, Larry Hughes, inviting a few industry friends to his house on the Carolina coast for a clam bake in 2001. Since then, the event has moved from Charleston, SC, to Nashville, TN, and most recently to Walt Disney World® Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL, and has evolved to include hundreds of healthcare executives and industry thought leaders. FORVIS’ Healthcare Symposium 2023 continued to ignite the conversations that will create a more equitable, accessible, and compassionate healthcare industry.
