BKD Taps Dave Clauson as ESG Market Leader in Chicago

CHICAGO – Angela Morelock, managing partner of BKD National Enterprise Risk Solutions Practice, is pleased to announce the addition of Dave Clauson as a director in BKD’s Chicago office.

Clauson will lead the firm’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) efforts for clients in the Chicago market and bolsters BKD’s growing national practice in this increasingly vital area.

Clauson is a dynamic, proactive and seasoned environmental management professional with more than 20 years of experience as a technical consultant and program manager in environmental, health and safety (EHS) and sustainability fields. His track record includes creating and managing programs for sustainability and compliance, due diligence and operational and compliance audits. He has a proven history of delivering critical processes and operations, training, mentoring and instilling strong environmental and sustainability cultures.

Before joining BKD, Clauson was responsible for managing EHS operations for an international manufacturing company in the dairy industry. He has significant experience managing programs for companies in the manufacturing, energy and mining industries.

Clauson is a graduate of Roosevelt University, Chicago, Illinois, with an M.B.A. in organizational design, and a graduate of the University of Illinois with a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering. In addition, he is a Certified Safety Professional and a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager.
