Partner Brad Brotherton will serve as BKD’s first Regulatory & Reimbursement consulting practice leader. More than 2,000 providers rely on BKD’s Medicare and Medicaid expertise to help them reap the payments they deserve. Our regulatory and reimbursement practice offers in-depth consulting services in many targeted areas such as outsourced reimbursement services, time study tools, disproportionate share hospital (DSH) and uncompensated care payments, bad debt reimbursement, UPL supplemental payment programs, Medicare wage index and more.

Brotherton has nearly 25 years of experience assisting clients with cost report preparation and other Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement consulting services for hospitals and integrated health systems, making him an ideal candidate for this new role. His leadership will foster a robust practice with significant growth potential.
