FORVIS, a leading accounting and consulting firm, continues to grow its national presence with an expansion into South Florida. This is the third market for the firm in the state of Florida, joining Jacksonville and Tampa.
FORVIS has seen substantial growth in Florida, particularly in the asset management, private client, and financial services industries, which will be key focus areas for the South Florida office following heightened client demand. The office will also provide full-service tax, consulting, and assurance offerings to clients in the region.
Helping to grow the new market is veteran leader and partner, Brian Matlock, who has extensive experience successfully opening offices and launching service offerings. Matlock has focused his 20-year career in asset management services with extensive experience in audit, accounting, and compliance matters related to private equity funds and private equity backed portfolio companies. Matlock will work closely with Paul Thompson, managing partner of FORVIS’ Florida practice unit, to strengthen the firm’s presence in the region.
