BOCA RATON, Florida – Bill Schinas has joined FORVIS as a partner with the audit practice in the firm’s South Florida office.
Schinas has nearly 30 years of experience working with client companies in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, media, food and beverage, software, telecommunications, and transportation. He has assisted clients with initial public offerings, secondary offerings, and private placements. His responsibilities have included planning and performing financial statement audits for public and private companies and providing attestation on internal controls over financial reporting.
Prior to joining FORVIS, Schinas worked for a large international firm where his duties included serving as lead audit partner on SEC listed companies and acting as an engagement quality review partner for International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) audits. During that time, he also was involved in various audit quality initiatives and regularly led training efforts for partners, managers, and staff. Schinas also spent two years as a partner at the firm’s national office.

Schinas holds a bachelor's degree from Florida International University, Miami, and earned a Master of Accountancy degree from Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale.
