FORVIS will bolster its ability to serve clients in the public sector with the acquisition of assets of the software technology and consulting company Thales Consulting, effective August 1.
Founded in 2002, Thales Consulting creates software and provides consulting services related to state and local government financial reporting. The company developed The Reporting Solution (TRS), a software as a service (SasS) platform that streamlines the preparation of financial reports, including the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR), through collaboration and efficient reporting processes. Thales works with hundreds of public sector clients across the country to streamline the preparation of financial reports. FORVIS has been a certified implementer of this tool since 2020.

Thales Consulting is based in Marquette, Michigan. A total of eight team members will transition to FORVIS, including Thales President Joe Stimac who will be joining the firm as a director.
