CHICAGO – Brian Pavona, healthcare audit and consulting partner with FORVIS, has been selected to serve on the AICPA Health Care Entities Expert Panel. His term begins June 1, 2023.
The Health Care Entities Expert Panel serves the needs of the healthcare industry and the approximately 428,000 AICPA members on financial and business reporting and audit and attest matters. The panel protects the public interest by bringing together knowledgeable parties from across the healthcare industry to collaborate and build consensus on critical issues.
As a member of the AICPA panel, Pavona, along with FORVIS and the healthcare organizations it serves, will have a “seat at the table” to help tackle emerging issues and challenges for healthcare organizations and practitioners. The appointment furthers FORVIS’ commitment to helping healthcare organizations and the industry at large in analyzing, implementing, and enhancing accounting, reporting, and internal control frameworks and functions.

He is a member of the AICPA, Illinois CPA Society, the American College of Healthcare Executives, and the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). He is the current president of the Illinois First Chapter of HFMA.
