FORVIS ranks among top organizations for learning & development by Chief Learning Officer

News Release // 12-06-2023

FORVIS has been recognized as one of the world’s top organizations for team member learning and development by Chief Learning Officer, a publication for C-suite and senior-level L&D professionals.

Chief Learning Officer ranked FORIVS No. 17 on its 2023 list of LearningElite Awards finalists

For more than a decade, this peer-reviewed ranking and benchmarking program has recognized organizations from all over the world for best-in-class levels of performance across five dimensions: learning strategy, leadership commitment, learning execution, learning impact, and business performance results.

“FORVIS is deeply committed to helping our people build remarkable careers,” said Katie Davenport, senior director of talent development at FORVIS. “It’s gratifying to once again be recognized by Chief Learning Officer for our investment in this vital aspect of career growth.”

A total of 59 organizations were recognized as finalists this year. Each organization is scored and ranked Gold, Silver, or Bronze based on its score relative to benchmarks. At No. 17, FORVIS earned a place in the Silver category, and is one of only three accounting firms to be recognized.

The firm takes a comprehensive approach to professional development by offering access to a broad array of training resources, industry certifications, and networking opportunities. FORVIS supports individual career goals by offering mentorship programs, leadership development initiatives, and specialized training tracks. In 2022, the firm issued more than 159,000 hours of CPE to team members through FORVIS-created and sponsored content.

The firm also was recognized earlier this year with a 2023 Apex Award from Training Magazine for best-in-class employee training and development.

“At FORVIS, we recognize the importance of valuing our people not only for who they are today, but for who they can and will become in the future,” said Chief Talent Officer Lori Haley. “Our commitment to professional development is one of many ways we fulfill our purpose of helping those we serve unlock their full potential.”
